The Association fully participates in the legislative and judicial processes, providing information to state and federal legislators on the issues important to the law enforcement community, as well as appearing in legal proceedings which concern the role or the position of Chief of Police.

The NJSACOP also works with Chiefs of Police and municipal, county and state elected and appointed officials to mediate issues and problems before they reach the courthouse.
