The NJSACOP is proud and honored to have many members from the private sector.  These Members serve on a variety of committees, including Private Security, Memorial Service, Certification, Chiefs Foundation, and others.

Many of our private sector members take advantage of the relationships established within the Association to make their product or services known to chiefs and other police officials. Others put these relationships to use in performing their private security or other responsibilities, or to forge good working relations with their local police department.  Additionally, many of our private sector members utilize the sponsorship, advertising and vendor opportunities available to reach chiefs around the state.

The NJSACOP has established solid links with private sector organizations and companies, including among others the New Jersey Chapters of the American Society for Industrial Security, the New Jersey Food Council, the New Jersey Retail Merchants Association, Public Service Electric & Gas, ADT Security Services, and many others.

Last but not least, many of our civilian members see their NJSACOP Membership as a way to express their support of New Jersey's law enforcement leaders, and law enforcement in general.
