If anything we have learned from 2020, law enforcement is at the epicenter of all events. When a crisis happens people turn to police for information about the local impact and what they need to do. From the ongoing pandemic to the civil unrest, and the changing executive orders, law enforcement leaders are put in the spotlight on a daily basis. Your ability to effectively communicate can strengthen relationships and build trust in the communities we serve. Take a look at the lessons learned over the past year and examine best practices to get your message out.

In this presentation, Dr. Schlosser will help police leaders know (1) what to expect with regard to the PEPE process, (2) who is qualified to perform a PEPE, (3) how to recruit and develop good candidates for your agency, (4) about Conditional Offers of Employment (COE) and how they impact what you can and can’t ask candidates, and (5) the possible outcomes of a PEPE.
