COURSE OVERVIEW
Quality training is the foundation for all professions and law enforcement is no exception. For law enforcement agencies to fulfill their mission to the citizens it serves, its members must possess the necessary skills to deliver effective police services. This can only occur when they have been properly trained.

Agencies have an obligation to assess the performance of their officers, ensure their training is adequate and recognize deficiencies in training. Failure to do so can create liability issues for the agency, supervisor, and the officer.

This course will provide police supervisors with a comprehensive overview of law enforcement training case law, strategies for identifying training deficiencies, developing and implementing training programs, the importance of agency wide training development collaboration and much more.
